  Samtalä: The Eye

  3:30pm

Samtalä | Musicians in Dialogue presents the EYE, a new chamber music concert for viola, cello sextet and soprano sitting in the round.

THE EYE takes us into the eye of the storm, asking what emerges when we find a temporary sanctuary of calm amid stress and turmoil. What arises there? Love, sadness, joy, longing, tenderness?

Framed by new works by Micah Behr, the program unfolds as a continuous musical journey, weaving together music by Villa-Lobos, Bach, Handel, Silvestrov, and Esmail.

Venue: Chorus Public House, 154 W Main St, Stoughton

  Musicians:
Violas | Madlen Breckbill, Laila Zakzook, Micah Behr
Cellos | Magdalena Sas, Philip Bergman, Aaron Fried
  Voice | Sarah Brailey
